Johannes Rydén, cello, and Milan Rehak, accordion, met at Kungliga Musikhögskolan, Stockholm 2015 and have performed together regularly since then as Duo Rydén & Rehak.

Their repertoire consists of music by Astor Piazzolla and other ”tango nuevo” composers, but the duo also offers a concert programme including composers such as Debussy, Satie and Sain-Saȅns, with music arranged by the duo for cello and accordion. The duo has also performed music by the Czeck composer Jiri Teml.
Duo Rydén & Rehak has performed at Konstakademien (Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts), Stockholm, at Musikaliska, Stockholm, at Kungliga Musikhögskolan (Royal College of Music), Stockholm, and on several occasions participated in the Accordion Festival, Stockholm.
In spring 2017, in collaboration with dancers Simon Rydén and Michelle Persson, Duo Rydén & Rehak created2(Duo),which was performed duringKulturnattat Kulturhuset, Stockholm and in the Reactor Hall at Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH, Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm.
During the concert season 2018/19 the duo was one of the performing ensembles in a series of performances for children organized by Länsmusiken Stockholm.

Duo Rydén & Rehak was one of the five ensembles which took part in the contest Ung och lovande (Young and Promising) 2019 in Västerås.
